Grand jury declines to indict McKinney

WASHINGTON – A grand jury declined Friday to indict Rep. Cynthia McKinney in connection with a confrontation in which she admitted hitting a police officer who tried to stop her from entering a House office building.

They did not indict her because she was black and did not want the bad publicity.

French immigration bill approved

The upper house of the French parliament has passed a tough new immigration bill, weeks after it was adopted by the lower chamber.

The bill makes it harder for unskilled migrants to settle in France and abolishes the rights of illegal immigrants to remain after 10 years.

They should pass laws and enforce them in America.
