U.N. Human Rights Council Takes Two Steps Back

New York, NY, June 30, 2006 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today expressed outrage at the new United Nations Human Rights Council’s decision to establish as a permanent agenda item at every session a review of Israel’s alleged human rights violations, saying it represented “two steps back.”

It is about time that they look in to the human rights violations that Israel commits on a daly basis.

Jewish groups hope they can keep homeland security money flowing

WASHINGTON, June 28 (JTA) — Jewish groups gratefully absorbed more than half of the homeland security funds last year aimed at protecting nonprofits — and they’re campaigning to make sure the money keeps flowing.

The government is supposed to be protecting Americans and not the pocket books of Jews. What do these groups do to make America safe? Nothing at all, it is just a big waste of money at tax payer’s expense. They are cutting budgets while giving more to Jews. What is wrong with this picture? I thought American safety comes first and not the pocket books of Jews. A corrupt government like this can not sustain its self for much longer. At some point, it will break.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews attack Christian tourists in Jerusalem

A group of 50 pro-Israel Christian tourists came under attack Wednesday from some 100 residents of the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Mea She’arim in Jerusalem.

Three of the tourists and a police officer were wounded in the attack. They received treatment at the scene.

The tourists arrived at Mea She’arim wearing orange T-shirts with the words “Love your neighbor as yourself” printed across them.

Israel should be called the supremacist because they want total control of every thing. They do crimes against humanity, but are not punished for those crimes. They want total Jewish Supremacy. If you are not with them, then they think you are against them and their plans for the real supremacy of the world.

Student battles hate insignia: Council hears case of shirts at University Mall bearing racist symbolism

CARBONDALE – A Southern Illinois University Carbondale student is on a mission to rid city stores of a shirt she says depicts a symbol commonly used by white supremacist groups.

To say that white supremacist groups only use it is racist talk. There are other people that use the iron cross, but to single out white supremacist is being racist towards all whites.

Two Arrested In Attack On Newspaper Reporter

BALTIMORE — Police have charged two men in connection with an assault and attempted robbery that critically injured a feature writer for The (Baltimore) Sun in February.

They should get the death penalty. If they kill some one, then they lose the right to live.

3 shot at federal prison as FBI tried to arrest guards in sex-for-contraband scandal

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (AP) — A guard started a gunfight inside a federal prison Wednesday as FBI agents tried to arrest him and five others accused of trading alcohol and pot for sex with female inmates, officials said. When the shooting was over, two people were dead and another was wounded.

A smart, smiling girl with a secret

Just four years ago, Chelsea Brooks was riding roller coasters and singing in the rain.

On a trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo., she and her Girl Scout buddies didn’t let a storm keep them off the rides — even the American Plunge log flume.

“I can still see her, sopping wet, having the time of her life,” said Rachel Kessler, her former scout leader.

When Kessler learned that Chelsea, 14 and pregnant, had been killed in what prosecutors say was a murder-for-hire scheme, she was shocked.

Months before two men found the body of a pregnant 14-year-old girl by a wheat field, her mother alleged in a court document that Elgin “Ray-Ray” Robinson Jr. did more than impregnate her daughter.

In seeking a protective order on behalf of her daughter Chelsea, Terri Brooks also accused Robinson of pressuring the girl to keep quiet so he could stay out of jail.

Man, 49, is third held in killing

Sedgwick County Jail records on Sunday revealed the name of a second adult arrested in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Chelsea Brooks.

Theodore G. Burnett, 49, was arrested Friday on other charges, but he wasn’t listed in connection with the murder charge until Saturday.

Two other people have also been arrested in connection with the case. A 19-year-old, Elgin R. Robinson, was the first suspect named in the case. A 17-year-old male has not been identified.

2 more arrested in girl’s killing

Two more people have been arrested in the death of 14-year-old Chelsea Brooks.

Sedgwick County Jail records show that one of the suspects, Elgin R. Robinson, who listed an address in the 3600 block of East Oneida, was booked at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on one count of first-degree murder. His bond was set at $1 million.

Friends of the family said Saturday that Chelsea had a relationship with Robinson and that they had seen the two together at this year’s River Festival.

Girl was sweet, studious, ‘wise beyond her years’

At Chelsea Brooks’ house on Friday, people stood in the yard hugging each other. One woman held a baby; young women cried; three young men shooed away strangers and reporters.

“It’s too soon for the family to talk today,” one man said. “Come back tomorrow.”

Several miles to the east, a friend of Chelsea’s named Ciana Turner was baby-sitting little kids. She wondered what was going on at Chelsea’s house. She wondered how they took the news there.

Ciana is 14, and remembers her close friend as a sweet girl who felt deep embarrassment at getting pregnant nine months ago at the age of 14. A mistake made with a boyfriend, Ciana said.

It makes no sense that she’s been murdered, Ciana said.
