Swedish Welfare State Collapses as Immigrants Wage War

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on November 2, 2006

Last year I wrote an article about how Swedish society is disintegrating and is in danger of collapsing, at least in certain areas and regions. The country that gave us Bergman, ABBA and Volvo could become known as the Bosnia of northern Europe. The “Swedish model” would no longer refer to a stable and peaceful state with an advanced economy, but to a Eurabian horror story of utopian multiculturalism, socialist mismanagement and runaway immigration. Some thought I was exaggerating, and that talk of the possibility of a future civil war in Sweden was pure paranoia. Was it?

In a new sociological survey (pdf in Swedish, with brief English introduction) entitled “Vi krigar mot svenskarna”(“We’re waging a war against the Swedes”), young immigrants in the troubled city of Malmö have been interviewed about why they are involved in crime. Although it is not stated, most of the immigrant perpetrators are Muslims. In one of the rare instances where the Swedish media actually revealed the truth, the newspaper Aftonbladet reported several years ago that 9 out of 10 of the most criminal ethnic groups in Sweden came from Muslim countries. This must be borne in mind whilst reading the following newspaper article:

Immigrants are “waging war” against Swedes through robbery

The wave of robberies the city of Malmö has witnessed during this past year is part of a “war against the Swedes.” This is the explanation given by young robbers from immigrant backgrounds when questioned about why they only rob native Swedes, in interviews with Petra Åkesson for her thesis in sociology. “I read a report about young robbers in Stockholm and Malmö and wanted to know why they rob other youths. It usually does not involve a lot of money,” she says. She interviewed boys between 15 and 17 years old, both individually and in groups.

Mass Chanukah Celebration in Russia’s Capital

Moscow, Russia – Thousands of Jews huddled together in below-freezing temperatures outside the Kremlin to watch the lighting of about an 8-meter (24-feet) high menorah in front of the Moscow Kremlin, on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005.

At the candle lighting ceremony, Russia’s Chief Rabbi Lazar spoke to the audience about the miracle of Chanukah.

It is ok for the Russian government to discriminate against Christians and only allow Jews to celebrate
their religion in public.

Kerry draws Republican fire over gaffe

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on November 2, 2006

The Republican Party on Tuesday gained a late burst of energy in its flagging midterm election campaign following remarks by John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential candidate, in which he said college students could “get stuck in Iraq” if they do not study hard.

While campaigning in California, the Massachusetts senator told a college crowd on Monday: “You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.

Just goes to show you what politicians really think of the American people. Politicians think Americans are stupid and that they can get away with anything.

Crackdown on illegals takes toll in Pennsylvania town

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on November 2, 2006

HAZLETON, Pennsylvania (AP) — Elvis Soto’s variety store used to make money. But few customers have been walking through his door lately, and his merchandise — calling cards, cell phones, car stereos, clothing — is collecting dust on the shelves.

With bills mounting, Soto might have to take another job to stay afloat financially, and may even close the store.

On Wednesday, a tough, first-of-its-kind law targeting illegal immigrants was to take effect in this small hillside city in northeastern Pennsylvania. A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the measure, but the evidence suggests many Hispanics — illegal or otherwise — have already left.

Judge blocks town’s ban on immigrants

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (Reuters) — A federal judge Tuesday temporarily barred Hazleton, Pennsylvania, from implementing a law designed to prevent illegal immigrants from living in the town.

Judge James Munley of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania issued a temporary restraining order against Hazleton City Council, preventing it from enforcing its Illegal Immigration Relief Act Ordinance.

The measure has become a model for other U.S. towns that blame illegal immigrants for a range of social problems.

The law, which had been scheduled to take effect Wednesday, would fine landlords found to be renting space to illegal aliens, close down businesses that hire them, and allow legal employees to sue the businesses for employment lost during such a shutdown. A related law also establishes English as the town’s official language.

The restraining order is valid until November 14.

Judges now put the needs of the politicians above the needs of the American people. Instead of fighting illegal immigration, judges and politicians want to turn a blind eye in exchange for votes. Judges and politicians are supposed to protect Americans from criminals that try to come in to America illegally.
