FARMINGTON: Confederate flag cap dispute leads to lawsuit

A Farmington High School freshman suspended from school in September for wearing a Confederate flag cap and T-shirts to school sued the school district and school officials in federal court in St. Louis Tuesday, alleging the school district policy is unconstitutional and discriminatory.

According to the lawsuit, a coach or teacher took student Bryce Archambo’s baseball cap away on Sept. 27. The cap bore a Confederate flag and the words “C.S.A. Rebel Pride, 1861.” An assistant superintendent spoke with Archambo’s father and told him that his son was prohibited from wearing anything with a Confederate flag “due to the alleged inherent racism that such insignia sends.”

Teachers are supposed to teach about history and not try to rewrite history in to what they want it to be. The teachers are the racists. A symbol is only a symbol of hate when those that fear, or do not understand it, give it the wrong meaning. The teachers are the ones saying that any one who wears a Confederate Flag is a racist.

Long Beach teens face hate crime charges

Los Angeles County prosecutors today filed hate crimes charges against eight black teenagers accused of beating up three white women on Halloween night in a case that has startled and divided Long Beach.

Authorities said they took the action after concluding that the teens attacked and beat the women in the upscale Bixby Knolls area because they were white.

The case has been the subject of a wrenching public dialogue over the last few weeks in the racially diverse city of 460,000, with civil rights groups like the NAACP condemning the teenagers’ alleged actions and the city holding a public forum meant to ease tensions. The attack occurred on a block known for fancy Halloween decorations.

According to police, a mob of mostly girls, ages 12 to 17, allegedly hurled racial insults at the women, threw small pumpkins and lemons at them, and then knocked them to the ground with kicks, punches and swings of a skateboard.

It is about time they start charging blacks for hate crimes instead of making it a white only crime, where whites are the ones mostly charged with hate crimes and not blacks.

Latvia reviews compensation bill

Latvia’s Parliament is due to discuss a $57 million compensation bill for the Jewish community.

The bill up for review Thursday, already approved by the Cabinet, says the money is to “compensate for the historically unfair consequences suffered by the Jewish community due to the Nazi Holocaust and Soviet occupation.”

Prime Minister Aigars Kalvisits has told Latvian media that since the state owns property that once belonged to Jews and Jewish organizations, compensation is the only fair way to deal with the long-term issue of property loss.

What about the groups that the Jews have slaughtered over the years? Do you see Jews stepping up to compensate them, No. Do you see the Jews stepping up and say they are sorry for all the killings they have done, no you do not and they will NEVER admit to their crimes.

Jews sue over pork casing on beef hot dog

CHICAGO, Nov. 22 (UPI) — Three Chicago-area Jews are suing a hot dog maker for mislabeling weiners as all beef when they actually were wrapped in pork casings.

The suit was filed in Cook County Circuit Court Monday against Vienna Beef of Chicago, seeking unspecified damages for emotional distress suffered after the plaintiffs read the label of a box beside a street vendor’s cart, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Vienna Beef spokeswoman Susan Stoga said the company stands behind its “all-beef” labeling and said 96 percent of the company’s hot dogs
are either skinless or use a non-pork casing.

If they have a problem with how hotdogs are made, then they should start their own business. That way people would not have to pay extra just to have there food certified safe for Jews.
