Coming soon to The New York Times? Globe reports Bush marriage breakup

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on December 15, 2006

Summary: In Patrick Healy’s recent front-page New York Times article on the state of the Clintons’ marriage, Healy noted that a “tabloid photograph” of former President Bill Clinton “was enough to fuel coverage in the gossip pages.” Media Matters does not endorse the decision by elite media figures to take their cues from tabloids, but if they do so, we expect them to be consistent. As it happens, the cover of the May 29 edition of the Globe magazine contains a headline about another high-profile political couple: “BUSH MARRIAGE BREAKUP! EXCLUSIVE! SEPARATE LIVES IN THE WHITE HOUSE.”

In his May 23 front-page article in The New York Times, staff writer Patrick Healy asserted that “[w]hen the subject of Bill and Hillary Clinton comes up for many prominent Democrats these days, Topic A is the state of their marriage” and how it “might affect Mrs. Clinton’s possible bid for the presidency in 2008.” Healy offered no specific reasons for this purported interest among “prominent Democrats” aside from the amount of time the Clintons spent apart, a mention of a decade-old affair, and a reference to year-old “concern[]” over a “tabloid photograph showing Mr. Clinton leaving B.L.T. Steak in Midtown Manhattan late one night after dining with a group that included Belinda Stronach, a Canadian politician.” Healy continued: “The two were among roughly a dozen people at a dinner, but it still was enough to fuel coverage in the gossip pages.”

Bush is screwing up America just like he is screwing up his marriage. Family comes first above all else. I guess Bush is more concerned about how big he can make his and his buddies bank accounts than he is about his marriage.

Thousands of ducks mysteriously dying in Idaho

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on December 15, 2006

SALMON, Idaho (Reuters) – Officials scrambled on Wednesday to determine what has caused the deaths of thousands of mallard ducks in south-central Idaho near the Utah border.

Although wildlife experts are downplaying any links to bird flu, they have sent samples to government labs to test for the deadly H5N1 flu strain, among other pathogens.

Officials with the federal Bureau of Homeland Security have been also called in to help with the probe.

“We think the possibility of avian flu is very remote but we’re not ruling anything out at this point in time,” said Dave Parish, regional supervisor for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. “We want to make sure all the bases are covered.”

Wildlife officials are calling the massive die-off alarming, with the number of dead mallards rising from 1,000 on Tuesday to more than 2,000 by Wednesday afternoon. “We’ve never seen anything like this — ever,” Parrish said.

A hunter alerted state conservation officials after finding a handful of dead ducks along a creek near Burley, about 150 miles southeast of Boise, on Friday.

With what happened on 9/11, do you think that the next attack will come to New York? It is easier for terrorist to sneak in to America from Mexico while bringing any weapon they want. It would be easier for terrorist to attack a small town in the middle of America than it is for them to attack a big city.

Keeping the border with Mexico wide open will only cause more trouble down the road. Some sick minded terrorist will sneak across the Mexican border with some type of weapon and attack America. It causes more damage to attack the food supply, which includes wild animals, than it does to send a plane in to a building.

If the American government does not secure the border with Mexico, then they are leaving themselves open to the destruction of their food supply and millions could die. What happened in Idaho could have been a test to see how much could be destroyed and how much more to increase the dose to destroy more than just a few thousand ducks. You never know.

The American government refuses to do anything about it. Bush says that it would cost to much to secure the borders and send illegals back to Mexico, but it could cost more in the lives that could be lost to Bush’s screw up.

Proof of Zionist Media Lies about the Holocaust Conference and David Duke

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on December 15, 2006

Proof: the Media Lies About the Holocaust Conference in Tehran. Here is proof of the lies of the Zionist-influenced media.

It is being reported around the world that in my speech in Tehran that I stated that the “gas chambers did not exist.” You can read and even listen to my speech right here on www.davidduke.com.

I said no such thing! In fact I said specifically that I take no position on that issue but that I believe in freedom of speech and find it an outrage that men such as David Irving are in prison for simply voicing an intellectual, historical opinion. Listen to my speech yourself at www.davidduke.com!

The Zionist-influenced media has maintained that the purpose of the conference was to deny the Holocaust — when the actual, stated purpose was to provide free speech on this important historical issue and to protest against the suppression of free speech in some European
countries. The record of the conference is clear. There were many speeches at the conference that maintained the mainstream Holocaust view.

In an act of blatant deception, the Zionist-influenced media has headlined that in the closing session Iran’s President called for “wiping Israel off the map,” suggesting that he advocated a genocide or destruction of the people of Israel. One more big lie. Any tape or transcript of his speech will show that he said support around the world for Zionism is dwindling and that the Zionist Regime will be replaced by a democratic state in the same fashion that the Soviet Regime was dissolved in Russia. He specifically advocated complete civil and political rights for all residents of the region, and specifically mentioned protection for the complete civil rights for Jews and Palestinians alike, and he repeatedly stressed that all peoples should love and respect one another and must disavow violence and war.

How the Zionist media lies! Thank God we have an Internet where people can immediately learn the truth. Ten years ago these lies could be stated with no fear of contradiction, now you can hear with your own ears the truth rather than the lies of a pro-Israel media.

There is no freedom of speech when all attempts are made to suppress any one who disagrees with mainstream media in America.

Computers ‘could store entire life by 2026′

Posted by mythoughtsandnews on December 15, 2006

A device the size of a sugar cube will be able to record and store high resolution video footage of every second of a human life within two decades, experts said yesterday.

Researchers said governments and societies must urgently debate the implications of the huge increases in computing power and the growing mass of information being collected on individuals.

Some fear that the advent of “human black boxes” combined with the extension of medical, financial and other digital records will lead to loss of privacy and a dramatic expansion of the nanny state.

Others highlight positive advances in medicine, education, crime prevention and the way history will be recorded.

Leading computer scientists, psychologists and neuroscientists gathered to debate these issues at Memories for Life, a conference held at the British Library yesterday.

Prof Nigel Shadbolt, president of the British Computer Society and professor of artificial intelligence at the University of Southampton, said: “In 20 years’ time it will be possible to record high quality digital video of an entire lifetime of human memories. It’s not a question of whether it will happen; it’s already happening.”
